Yaesu 710 Field, Astron Linear PS

I am planning to buy a Yaesu 710 Field and an Astron RS-35M-AP.

I am brand new to HAM and need to ensure I am ordering the right things of my wife will ground me.

Is this a suitable power supply and would it be suitable to use multiple radios, say a VHF/UHF mobile at the same time as the 710?

Also is there a pre-made power cord to plug the 710 into this astron that you sell? If so, can you provide the part #.

Thank you for your help. I am not very HAM saavy—yet.

Welcome to the hobby! The Astron RS-35M-AP is an excellent choice; it supplies ample current to power multiple radios, such as an HF and a dual-band radio. This radio already includes the power cord. You can either connect the bare wires at the back or use the Anderson Power Pole connectors at the front of the power supply for more convenient operation. No need for a premade power cable.
