Who's Excited For The Yaesu FTX-1F?!?

So, this new FTX-1F from Yaesu looks pretty sweet! It’s like a portable radio powerhouse. You can take it anywhere and still get decent power – 6 watts with the battery, and you can bump it up to 10 watts if you hook it up to a power supply.

The cool thing is it does all the modes – SSB, CW, AM, FM, even C4FM digital. And with that 4.3-inch touchscreen, you can really see what’s going on with the 3DSS display.

Here’s the kicker: you can actually listen on two bands at the same time. Imagine, you’re chatting on HF SSB while also monitoring a digital conversation on VHF! That’s pretty slick.

And let’s talk about the sound. Two speakers mean you’ll hear everything loud and clear.

Plus, you can add on an antenna tuner and even a cooling fan right on the back – it’s all nicely integrated.

Yaesu really thought about the user experience with features like the PMG for your favorite frequencies and the MAG to quickly group your memory channels.

It’s definitely got that modern feel with USB ports for connecting everything and supporting WiRES-X.

I’m pretty excited about this one. It’s hitting the market early this year, so keep an eye out!

I hope they release it soon.

I had read on a German dealer page that the 1. Batch is announced for the end of March.

I found this, hope that has no effect…
