Proper use of the Diamond K9000LRM antenna mount on an RV.
@John_Rodgers
As you can see this antenna mount works best when mounted on a luggage rack. It comes with the necessary mounting parts. It is also a motorized mount and comes with a 20 foot power cord that can go into your “lighter” socket to power the mount up and down.
This is an antenna mount and you will also need the appropriate mount for your antenna connection and coax. If you are using an NMO base antenna then you will also need the Diamond C101NMO base

this comes with 6.5 feet of RG316 coax, so you will probably need a “barrel connector” like this to add additional coax to get to your radio:

This motorized mount will accept antennas up to 45 inches.
Here is a copy of the instructions:
This motorized mount will be ideal for your RV since you can raise and lower your antenna.
