Looking for an easily raised mast for my homebrew Spiderbeam that weighs about 6lbs. I intend to have a rotor on the bottom. Only need to raise 25ft but the Spiderbeam requires a small mast above the elements to hold supporting lines, so total is about 30ft. Is the POTA33H recommended? Is the wall thickness adequate if supported 8ft against a shed to not require guy wires? Are the top few rods wide enough to mount a Spiderbeam at 25ft?

Thank you. I was looking at that from you since you carry the Spiderbeam, but not finding a permanent mast. The Intellitron AM-2133M also looked like a possibility. Being fiberglass, less chance of reacting with the active elements. However fiberglass tends to bend easier than carbon fiber, yet it has larger 2" base diameter.
I’m still researching and leaning toward poles that can’t twist apart, like Xinbo or TipTop Composites with anti-rotation systems incorporating flat channel, grooved keyway, oblong or square profiles. I would like to have a rotor on the bottom to reduce weight, so twisting is a concern.
So far, it appears I’ll need a custom design.

I wouldn’t think the pota masts would support it properly. Too flexible. They’re very thin walled. They’re made to be as light as possible. Mostly suited for simple wire antennas. Great for field day type operations.
I’d say go with an HD fiberglass model if you’re going to deploy and then put away. Not sure there’s a good fiberglass option anymore to leave up as a permanent install. Perhaps look into a fiberglass flag pole. Something with a legit UV protected gel coat on the top coat.
