Koss headset adaptor for Yaesu FT450D

I have a Yaesu FT450D and a Koss SB40 headset. Will your Heil headset adaptor for this radio work with the Koss?

I doubt that the Heil headset adapter, AD1YM will work with your Koss SB40. You Koss has two plugs, one for the headset and one for the microphone. The Heil adapter has one plug for headset and microphone. The second plug on the Hiel adapter is for a PTT switch or a foot switch. Additionally, Hiel products are “proprietary” and designed to work with Heil microphones or headsets.

I understand there is an equivalent for the Koss: the INRAD M-YM audio adapter. I don’t see any in stock, can you advise if they will become available?
