I hooked it up to a RigExpert and the SWR is off the chart. I tried to adjust the whip length but it didn’t help. Any suggestions?

What mount are you using and how is it grounded? Is it a magnetic mount? What band did you try? Is there any difference across the band…e.g. is it lower in cw portion or in phone portion?

It’s the heavy-duty mag mount (tri-magnet) and I tried on 20M and 15M. The SWR measured as “infinite”.

I agree, something seems off. Last, check your coax and or connector. Make sure your connector from the coax into the swr meter is in solid, and of course check the swr meter settings. It is hard to believe that there is something wrong with the antenna, but could be.
