I need the coax for this antenna, but I am a new ham and confused as to which fittings I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@John_Waite
Well this is just the antenna…and it has a uhf style base. You need the mount, with a uhf style mount…and this antenna will screw onto that mount and that mount will have coax already attached. You could use a magnetic mount like the Intellitron MM-2105S 5in Magnet Mount with SO239 Connector with 17ft coax PL259

which is perfect for this antenna. In case you need more than 17 feet of coax, this adapter may be invaluable Max-Gain Systems UHF Female (SO-239) to UHF Female (SO-239) Adapter, DNN - 7517

The key is how and where you want to mount this antenna.
Hope this helps.
