While a balun does reduce RFI, most agree that one is not necessary on the G5RV and will impede or ruin the multiband capabilities of the antenna. I recommend you not get one at this time. Try the antenna, see how it operates. If you believe you may need one at a later time, you can always add one. Remember, that this antenna already has a transition point from the feedline to coax. So the answer to your question is, no.
