Hello, Richard!
Here is what I have been able to find out for you -
Transistor amps - these are direct keying, which almost all modern amps use.
Tube amps - These use a grid block control, and work with almost all of the old tube amps.
There is a jumper inside for grid block or direct keying. The default should be for the transistor control. This jumper is usually marked as G or D on the three pin jumper.
The jumper goes from the center to the appropriate side.
The control line is usually an RCA connector, but the amp side can vary greatly. So, you won't be able to buy the cables, unless it is the same as something else.
The Icom cable should work right off of the radio, with the ARI-800
I hope this info is helpful for you!
Welcome Richard. Sue is right on. You will need the ZIN-ARI-7DI (ACC2) jack cable for the 7610. If you don’t have the manual for the old Swan Mark 1 Google it for a manual and several YouTube videos. Thanks the business and contacting our ne Connect.
