Icom ID-52A and Which DIGIRIG with connections?

I want to connect my ICOM ID-52A with the correct DIGIRIG and cable to use WinLink.

What do I need please?

Hi @Greg_Bryson !

You would visit this page and in the drop down for “compatible with” select the option “Select Icom HTs”.

A quick note though - Digirig does not list this radio as compatible due to the connector from the cable on the radio side not fitting firmly. Users have had success by using a box cutter to trim some of the plastic molding back on the cable side where the connectors are, but you’d do this at your own risk of course as the item would be non-returnable after modification.

There was some discussion back in 2025 about Digirig altering this cable to be compatible without any trimming, but without having the cable and a radio in front of me, I’m unable to say if they’ve made a design change that would not require modifying the cable to fit snuggly in the radio.
