My first Ham Radio Transceiver arrived today. In addition I order a bigger antenna which is the Intellitron M1711S but will not fit the transceiver. Do I need to purchase an adaptor for this antenna to fit my transceiver? Thanks in advance.
To use the Intellitron HA-1711S 2M Telescopic HT Antenna with SMA-Male (antenna may have the number MA-1711S etched onto the base) with an Icom IC-V86 you would need the Diamond BNCP-SMAJ: BNC to SMA Adapter.
