Icom ah 730 yes or no

Got this coming with my new Icom 7300mk2. Having second thoughts that maybe I should have got a different tuner. Thoughts

@Tom_Jeske
Well it depends on the antenna or antennas you intend to use. The AH730 is an outstanding tuner that will tune in excess of 10:1 SWR. It is low loss, and since it is poisitioned nearer the antenna will tune almost any random length wire or any type of antenna and do it perfectly and quickly. It is an excellent choice if you want to operate on multiple bands, with a wire antenna, and be able to use multiple Icom radios.
However, if you are using a dipole antenna an LDG tuner, located at your radio, will also tune 10:1 swr in a dependable fashion.

Yes I should have said what I was running. Going to be for my new Icom 7300mk2 as a base station with an end fed antenna 130 ft. Got this all ordered thru Gigaparts. Was just looking at other tuners at that price range $600 that maybe would be a better tuner for the money spent

Yes, for a 130 foot end fed or long wire this tuner is perfect! And since it tunes closer to the antenna it is lower loss. Good choice!
