I have an issue (I think) when I push the talk button on my microphone I am not seeing any data on the 7300. IT is always showing no data.

Sounds like a setting. First, I assume you have the power level up, either to 100 watts or at least 70. I also assume that you have it in SSB mode. I assume you have the full meter set on, from hitting meter on the menu. Remember too, nothing really happens if you just squeeze the mic button…there needs to be some sound, so whistle or talk into the microphone after you press the PTT button on the mic. Also, if you hit the tune button to activate the internal tuner, you should see some movement on the meter. Make sure your “split” function is not on…so the B vfo is in the band when mic is keyed.
