I have a new MK2 and remote access was working using an Ipad with SDR Connect. All was working fine but then it stopped connecting. Nothing changed in any set up parameter within the radio or iPad. I powered down, reset the wireless router, reinstalled the software in the iPad and still can’t connect. Any help is appreciated!
We assume you are using the popular SDR-Control app for Icom radios, designed by Marcus Roskosch for MAC OS and iOS. We would be glad to help, but unfortunately we haven’t had a chance to test it, since it is a third-party app we don’t carry. Thanks Sue, I will attempt to contact the developer. Have you tested or can you recommend any remote software that runs on Mac or IPad? I really like the RSBA1 Software but it is not ported for MAC. Are there any plans to make it compatible with MAC?
I am able to connect via WiFi but not over the internet when away from home.
