Is GigaParts planning on adding products to your very limited selection?
Tough one honestly to keep instock and acquire too.
We are actively looking for a more amplifiers manufacturers to resell. Are you looking for solid state or tube-type?
Solid state and lower price than the ICOM you carry. I know people can afford it but not this people. Surely there’s a reasonable priced amplifier.
We agree! We just haven’t been able to find one that meets our standards yet. There are some options in the $3,500+ range if you’re OK with 500 watts, but for 1kW+, it pretty much starts at $4,750 and goes up from there. If you have an Icom rig, the PW-2 is not a bad value compared to everything else on the market.
What about the RM ITALIA brand. Lots of levels of price and quality and it’s not coming out of China or Japan. Also the RigExpert Company maybe adding a line of amplifiers.
Look at changing your standards a bit.
Have you had any issues with RM Italia? They’re not a brand we’ve heard much about.
We do carry Rig Expert’s complete line of products, so if they happened to launch an amplifier, we would most likely sell it. Rig Expert is known for their extremely high standards in engineering, manufacturing, and customer service. Although they have an extremely high value proposition when considering longevity, performance and features, we would not anticipate any of their products being at the lower end of the cost spectrum.
