Help a relatively new Ham with coax!

Hi there, I am a relatively new ham radio operator and just purchased a
Yeasu FT-710 a few months back from you. I have a ALPHA-DELTA DX-40 antenna
to put up. I was wondering what type of coax you would recommend for my
antenna and radio setup? I have about a 60 foot run and don’t want anything
too thick or stiff. I read somewhere that the ohms of the coax need to
match the antenna? From what I’ve read I was thinking a RG8X or something a
little better but not much thicker. I really appreciate any help you could
offer? Thanks very much

For HF use I recommend RG8X by ABR. It is low loss/efficient, direct buriable, flexible, moisture proof, and untra violet resistant. RG8X gives you great cable and a great bang for your buck!

For higher performance and longer life out in the sun, consider M&P Airborne 5. It has lower loss on HF and better UV resistance than RG8X, but a similar thickness and flexibility.

I ama believer in M&P UltraFlex 7, Here are the soecs for your perusal.

Here are the specs of 50 Ohm Coax by M&P

And here is the UF7 Data Sheet.

I use UF7 at 1KW for runs of less than 100’

Dont forget the Lightning Protection!!!
