I am looking for a Heil Proset adapter for a Yaesu 991A that I purchased today.

Advising that you have the Pro Set IC - The IC stands for Icom. I’m sorry, that headset has different elements. It is not designed to work with Yaesu. It is designed for Icom only. (Icom is the only manufacturer that uses electret condenser mics, whereas Yaesu and Kenwood use dynamic mics.)

With the FT-991A these would be the options:

Heil Sound Pro Set 7 Black or it is also available in blue Heil Sound Pro Set 7 Blue.

The Heil Pro Set Elite 6 is also highly recommended.

The cable you would need, with either headset, would be the Heil Sound AD-1-YM.
