Hi,
I was finally able to use my new POTA 33H mast for the first time during this weekend’s contest. For my surprise, while I was lowering the mast section by section, the top tip that has the ring on it separated from the carbon-fiber top rod section. I had a G5RV Jr. antenna center raised in an inverted V configuration, not much stress at all for the “heavy duty” mast. Any advice in how do I get this fixed? Tks.
Hello, Eduardo!
So sorry, you had an issue with first time use. They have a warranty. If you are looking for the quickest fix, an epoxy will take care of it. Otherwise, please submit a return request for a replacement. Thank you for being a loyal GigaParts customer!

Hi Sue, thanks for your quick reply. Since the POTA 33H is not available in stock, I went for the epoxy fix. I will test it again soon. Given the likelihood the top tip might be separated, lost, and/or broken, are there plans to make these available as separate parts for future purchase? Also, please are there plans to make the individual segments for the POTA 33H available as replacement parts as they are for the POTA 20 and the regular POTA 33? Thanks again Sue!
