Does this Meter have Peak Hold?

I’m looking at the Intellitron WM-1005D Digital SWR / Watt Meter and would like to know if it has Peak Hold for SSB.

Thank You

Hi Bob!!
Nice to see you again! Yes, If you bring the page up:

Digital Features link

Then scroll down the page to pull down menus and select the FEATURES pull down you will see that there is a switch on the back for MAX mode to measure SSB/AM.

I want one of these myself and hope Santa is bringing one. This thing has a two year warranty and nice visable display.

Thanks for shopping at Gigaparts and Happy Holidays!

Robert,

As Doug noted, the meter has a MAX mode but does not have a peak hold. So while this fine meter measures peak SSB, it does not “hold” that reading, as you have in Palstar or Daiwa meters. However, you do get a great readout of your max power transmitted….but as you know SSB is dynamic. You could “whistle” into the mic to see max ssb.
