Does the G-1000DXA require a GC-038B Mast Clamp for installation ?

It is highly recommended, and note that the lower mast clamp is also the same that would be used for the top, if you have pipe on both sides of your rotor. (so you would need 2 of these). Since we do not know how you have mounted previous rotors or what type of installation you have, it is not labeled as required. However when mounting your rotor to pipe, it is required.

Thank you I wondered at first why two was needed before I talked to another Ham. My installation is on a tower not pipe.
