Attic mount or HOA

Many of you are in HOA situations ands I wanted to share the mount I use to put an VHF/UHF vertical in the attic. It is actually my " lightning antenna ". as I live in the lightning capital of the world. The parts as shown are available from any hardware store. I got mine at Home Depot. The base is simply lag bolted to any stringer in your attic and an appropriate length of mast pipe with threads. Many sizes are available.

To make it all work I use the Diamond Antenna D-130J Wideband Discone Antenna - 25-1300 MHz GigaParts.com .
Wideband Discone Antenna I use M&P Ultraflex 7 for coaxial cable.
