Appx 4 months old. Has worked flawlessly since installation on middle of a tin roof. Yesterday, when I pressed the TNR button to change frequencies the ATS blinks like it is seeking a frequency but the transmit light does not function. I checked all connections on coax from radio to antenna and all proved to be good. I can move the antenna up and down manually from the FT-891 but of course I cant see rhe SWR with an antenna analyzer with radio off line. If I hold down the transmit button while in seek mode it does move up and down but it doesn’t know when to stop. While checking the frequency it landed on with Analyser, I accidently hit the TNR button on the radio without an antenna connected. It started to work flawlessly. The red transmit lite came on and it looked normal. Of course as soon as reality set in I stopped the process. Yes, I have the transmit power down to 15 watts for this testing.

Why thank you Sue. What a nice response. I still have to get someone on the roof to check the last connection becaue at 86 my wife wont let me up there anymore. But she lets me do the dishes???
