Ford F150 trucks have been made with aluminum bodies since 2015. I want to install an IC-7100 which requires 2 antennas - 1 for VHF/UHF and the other for HF. What kind of antenna mounts would you suggest for this set up?
@Douglas_A_Landphair The Diamond K400Diamond K400 series or the Comet HD-5 (Heavy Duty) or Comet CP-5M would be good options. These lip mounts can be adjusted to any angle you wish. They are very popular among SUV and pickup truck owners. The Diamond Diamond HRKS mount is also an excellent choice for light dual-band antennas, but it is not recommended for heavy HF antennas, so please keep that in mind.
